PROPOSED BYLAW REVISION

At the Water Works Operators Association of Pennsylvania’s (Association) May 27, 2026 virtual Board Meeting, a proposal was received and unanimously approved by the Board of Directors to amend the Bylaws (Article VI: Board and Directors, Article VIII: Officers of the Association, and Article IX: Committees). Proposed revisions and exact bylaw language is attached below.
In accordance with the Association’s Bylaws (Article XII: Amendments), “Amendments to these Bylaws may be made by the affirmative vote of two-thirds of members present at any Annual Meeting, written notice of the proposed amendment having been given to the members of the Association thirty (30) days in advance of the said meeting”.
Accordingly, this notification, also included in the summer 2026 newsletter publication, constitutes thirty (30) days notice in advance to the scheduled August 12, 2026, Annual Meeting to be held at Boalsburg, PA.
